Principles of Faith

  • We affirm one God, who is manifested in three persons.
  • We affirm our Lord Jesus Christ to be truly and eternally God and Mediator between the Father and man.
  • We affirm the Holy Spirit to be truly and eternally God, who indwells in all believers at the moment of their salvation.
  • We affirm the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God and the standard of faith and knowledge.
  • We affirm the one universal church, which is the Body of Christ, uniting all people who have been chosen, called, and justified by God.
  • We affirm the assurance of salvation by the grace of God through the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ.
  • We affirm that the will of God is included in these two commandments: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, and soul; and you shall love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 22:37 & 39

The Academy Name

The horizon is the line at which what is seen meets what is unseen. We desire to bring harmony to the academic and spiritual. Christian education is where what is tangible and real is combined with faith which is based on hope but which is equally as real.

The Greek word Epignosis, found on our logo means "Full Knowledge." Proverbs 9:10 says, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." We believe that apart from an understanding of God, education will never produce full knowledge.
